Venture Fellows

Description

Venture Fellows are carefully selected and trained second-year leaders who possess the following competencies: leadership character, diplomacy, emotional intelligence, adaptability and resilience, and effective communication.

Duties

Venture Fellows are responsible for assisting with Venture marketing efforts, conducting pre-trip information sessions and activities, serving as a coach and facilitator during ventures and collecting information after the ventures to ensure continuous improvement to the program. They also work closely with Guides to develop and execute the Venture plan: serve as a coach and facilitate curriculum delivery for participants: act as emergency response in crisis conditions; support the leader of the day and represent Wharton and the Leadership Office.

In general we receive approximately 90 applicants, interview 60 and select 25-30 fellows.

Plus: bi-monthly meetings, committee meetings, venture training, speaker series attendance
