Senior Reception
Sponsored by the Wharton Council and the Wharton Alumni Relations Council, this is a special event for graduating seniors. Highlights of the event include remarks by the Dean, Vice Dean and President of the Wharton Alumni Association as well as an opportunity for seniors to learn about and sign-up for regional alumni chapters, a senior slide show, delicious food and a champagne toast.
Senior Pub
Sponsored by the Wharton Council and the Wharton Undergraduate Division, this popular Wharton senior tradition allow seniors to socialize and catch-up with their classmates in a fun laid back setting.
Senior BBQ
Graduating seniors celebrate the end of their four years with a celebratory BBQ lunch and entertainment sponsored by the Wharton Undergraduate Division. Wharton Seniors enjoy great food and the company of their classmates one last time before graduation.
Graduation
Wharton Commencement takes place in historic Franklin Field the day before the main university commencement ceremony. Graduating students process as a class and hear their names called as they are congratulated by the Dean and Vice Dean. Each year a member of the graduating class is selected by a committee to address their class in addition to two faculty award winners. A reception for graduates and their families takes place at Huntsman Hall following the ceremony.
