MBA Class of 2011 (except Lauder) and UGR Class of 2013 configuration instructions
The iPhone 3G and the previous generation iPhone with OS v2.0 can now receive push updates to the calendar, contacts and email from Microsoft's Exchange server.
NOTE: If you are setting up your iPhone to synchronize with an Exchange server, you should not attempt to synchronize your data through iTunes. It is recommended that you disable syncing your contact, calendar and email data in iTunes.
If you have never set up an email account, tap the Mail icon on the Home screen. You will be prompted to enter your account information, and can follow the instructions below
IMPORTANT NOTE BEFORE PROCEEDING: You can only have one set of Contacts and one Calendar on your iPhone. If have been using the iPhone Calendar and/or Contacts prior to configuring the iPhone for Wharton's Exchange server, DO NOT sync your Wharton Calendar and/or Contacts with your iPhone. Doing so will overwrite the data you currently have in your iPhone Calendar and/ or Contacts and replace it with your Wharton data. This cannot be undone.
If you have previously configured your iPhone to access an email server, tap the Settings button on the Home screen. Select the Mail category, and tap Add Account. The instructions below are based on connecting to ISC's Exchange server. Please substitute your local Exchange information as necessary:
