Pass/Fail: Declaration of Grading Status
The faculty has allowed students to take some elective coursework on a pass/fail basis. Each faculty member determines whether or not the course can be taken on this basis. The grading option can be selected either during the course registration auction or, for a limited period of time, after the close of auction (the declaration deadline is published in auction closing messages).

The following table indicates whether or not courses taken on a pass/fail basis can count toward fulfillment of the major. Once the course is graded on a Pass/Fail basis, that grade type cannot be reversed. Thus, should you change majors to one that does not accept courses taken on a Pass/Fail basis, you cannot count that course toward the major.
